WORKSHOPS
The Gusto Workshop includes
14 hours of group classes (cooking and wine) and 10 hours of private
individual tutoring for one of the thematic chosen areas (see list below). The program is offered English. The group course offerings are:
- Tuscan Cuisine (offered once a week)
- Italian Regional Cuisine (offered once a week)
- Italian Vegetarian Cooking (offered once a week)
- Italian Food Feast (offered once a week in June and July)
The length of the Gusto Workshop program is two weeks.
Programs can be repeated adding extra weeks Students may begin any week(see weekly calendar).
The program offers twelve different thematical areas:
Grocery shopping education: fresh food market and supermarket;
organic and industrially produced foods; fresh and preserved foods.
Cuisine as a cultural landmark: seasonality & DOP/IGP
